Building plans for our future home
WBIC church purchased their new property in the fall of 2021. Since then they have been working on the costly process with various surveyors, businesses and governments on re-zoning permissions and site plan approvals.
We are happy to announce that PHASE ONE has been been approved and work is underway in 2025 to replace the septic system and start renovating part of the property to include more washrooms.
PHASE TWO will include the building of “the Link” that will join the two buildings together so the church can start using it for sunday mornings services and community programming. This space will be vital for protection from the weather, give additional overflow space and meeting space. But we need your help. The cost to complete PHASE TWO will be an additional 400,000 dollars that we currently do not have. We would like to not take on any debt so we can do more community outreach, opening up our space for community programming and conserving the wetlands while making a safe space for the community to learn and enjoy.
Will you join us in our journey?

Drawn and painted by Jacqui Eisen this vision of our future church shows how the “link building” connecting the two current structures will provide a less traditional church look with a front entrance that is accessible, spacious and welcoming for community members to visit the building for church and non-church related events.

This plan shows the “link building” (in yellow) that will bridge the house building and workshop structures together. Finishing this connection is part of Phase 2 and will need to be completed before we can starting using the building on sunday mornings and other community events.

This logo was created to show that our church plan is by God's design (hand) and He is working this all for His good. The plants represent the wetlands on our property and protection of God's creation. The tractor represents the hard work by our contractor and church members to complete this large renovation. We will be "building commuity together"

Situated on 10 acres of land with 8 acres protected wetland, special care will be taken to ensure protection of the surrounding wetlands and growth of new plants such as native trees and shrubs and the continuing removal of invasive growth. A lot of this work will be done by individuals in the church and plants purchased from local growers and to minimize costs. Landscape plan drawn by church member Jacqui Eisen.
