On the evening of February 24th, 2019 our church building was destroyed by a fire.
But God has a plan.
Since that very cold and windy night in February 2019, Welland Be In Christ (WBIC) church worked through the process of receiving an insurance settlement, selling the church property and with a lot of prayer and consideration purchasing a larger property down the street on the outskirts of Welland, Ontario
It has been a challenging 6 years of transition, our church family has moved from location to location and God has been faithful in providing us space to meet every Sunday. In late 2021, we purchased our future new home at 550 Webber Road, Fenwick and have been patiently working with government entities on re-zoning and development plans.
Our church family has remained resilient during our transition period and we are now ready to put the shovel in the ground in 2025. We are looking forward to a permanent space again without debt so we can use our space to meet the needs of our surrounding community.
